Improve Your Smile With Dental Bonding
Bonding is the process of shaping composite resin to smooth and beautify your teeth. It is a budget-friendly alternative to crowns and preserves more of the natural tooth.
Bonding may be the right choice for you if your teeth are:
- Discolored
- Chipped
- Misshapen
- Cracked
- Too short
- Unevenly spaced
- Decaying
This cosmetic procedure involves applying a highly durable plastic similar to the material used in fillings. This white plastic can be glossed over your existing tooth and shaped to hide any problem areas. The result is a sparkling white, proportionate smile.
If you want to give your smile a makeover, call (407) 410-4489 and speak with our Orlando dentist today.
The Process of Bonding
Our Orlando dentists only use high-quality technologies and materials for all of our procedures. In most cases, anesthesia is not necessary for bonding.
Some exceptions would be:
- If the process will interact with a decaying tooth
- If the bonding is taking place near a nerve
- If the procedure involves drilling or reshaping the natural tooth
To start the process, we will rough your teeth and add a conditioning liquid, to make sure that the resin adheres strongly to the tooth. Then we will put on the putty-like resin and shape it accordingly. Once it is configured, we use a light to harden the resin. Afterwards, we go back over the bonding to smooth, reshape, and perfect your new smile. We will make sure to choose a shade of white that best matches the color of your natural teeth.
We have over 40 years of combined experience in dentistry, and our dentists are considered Top Dentists in Orlando.
